About the White River

While only 13 miles in length from below Beaver Dam to Beaver Town, this river flows a total of 722 miles before joining the mighty Mississippi river nears Batesville, Arkansas. In the Eureka Springs area, the river is subject to changes in current and water level when Beaver Dam is generating.

Beaver Town is a quaint little town which you access via Hwy 23N to Hwy 187.You will pass through it if you drive from the Beaver Dam to Holiday Island without passing through Eureka Springs./p>
